A brief introduction

In the past 40 years, the field of applied biological sciences has produced numerous revolutionary platform technologies, like Recombinant DNA, Monoclonal Antibodies, Protein and Cell Engineering and Optimization, to discover, synthesize, develop, and maximize the use of powerful biomolecules and devices to save lives, improve life quality and extend our lives by many years.

Next 10-20 years, the creative fusion and synergy between the above technologies and Nanotechnologies will lay the ground for continuing generating innovations and exploiting novel applications in the field of medicine, both diagnostics and therapeutics, with the additional potential of reaching the field of bioelectronics and microcircuits with potential industrial applications that go beyond any imagination, like biochips and bio-circuits for existing and new devices in support of our daily life and increase in productivity. NanoBiomica has been conceived to become one of the leaders in such a new industry and established by Roberto Crea, and Massimo La Deda, who share a remarkable track record of multiple accomplishments in both Academia and industry and passion for technological innovations. The Company plans to exploit the synergy between innovative, proprietary synthetic DNA and protein molecules in conjunction with modern nanotechnology platforms for the realization of new drugs and devices that have the potential to create a profound impact in medicine (both therapeutics and diagnostics, collectively called theranostics) as well as set the ground for a new category of micro bio-circuits.
